Microfiber terry fabrics are knitted from microfiber yarns in the same way as traditional terry fabrics are made from cotton yarns. In the microfiber manufacturing industry, there are basically two methods in which microfiber terry fabrics can be constructed: warp and weft. Most of the general purpose microfiber cloths in the market are made from warp terry fabrics.

As other microfiber fabrics with blend of polyester and polyamide, microfiber terry fabrics go through a splitting process before the fabrics are dyed. Our microfiber terry fabrics are made from 80/20 blend (80% polyester / 20% polyamide) microfiber yarns that are 150 deniers thick. After the splitting process, every microfiber yarn would be split into over 1,000 fine micro fibers whose sizes are less than 0.15 denier.

Most of the microfiber cloths sold at Big-box stores are made from microfiber terry fabrics. Microfiber terry cloths are super soft and highly absorbent. They are great for all purpose cleaning, drying, polishing, dusting etc. The weight of a microfiber terry cloth varies with length and density of terry loops. For a specific microfiber blend (e.g., 80% polyester / 20% ployamide), the qualities of microfiber terry cloths are determined by GSM (grams per square meter).
